About Me

I am a very enthusiastic photographer from Cornwall, specializing in a diverse range of photography and filmmaking. I strive to be creative and incorporate my own style. While I explore various genres, I have primarily refined my skills and knowledge in landscape photography. I aim to reimagine scenes by exploring new angles and utilizing light and shadow to add depth to an image.

My photography journey began in 2017 when I entered a photograph into an amateur competition and won Best Autumn Shot at the Westonbirt Arboretum. This achievement encouraged me and affirmed my potential and keen eye for photography. It marked my first serious attempt at the craft, and securing a winning position further fueled my motivation. From that moment, photography became an enduring passion. I enjoy the outdoors, planning alignments and locations, and embracing the unpredictability of what I might discover.

I have always been a creative individual, from my early interest in art as a child to my involvement in rock bands in my twenties. I have a deep appreciation for the creative arts and the world of performance.

From the beginning, I sought to avoid pigeonholing myself into a specific environment or genre. My enjoyment stems from the diverse subject matter and landscape concepts I continuously strive to innovate, refine, and explore. Although my portfolio is diverse, a distinct style has emerged, unifying my photography and filmmaking with a dramatic aesthetic.

I would sum up my objective in a few simple words: to bring peace to both the viewer and myself by immersing myself in nature as part of a healthy lifestyle.
